We are now in Peoria, AZ, a suburb of Scottsdale. Our host & hostess drove us out into the country on a road that wasn't an interstate and took us to see these cacti.
It was greener than usual because of rain the previous week. They then took us to see the Arizona Cardinal's stadium. We couldn't go inside because they were setting up for a big sports show later in the week.
The green field you see is actually the football field which can be moved in and out of the stadium via the garage-type doors in the lower portion of the stadium. Quite an invention.
